The NM Slaughter House is based on a true story and is definitely one of the scariest haunted houses in New Mexico. It’s a home owned by a demented couple and their “perfect” child Nina. Among the other children, Nina was unharmed and guests follow her through the secret passageways through the house as she tries to protect you from harm. Customers walk between walls, climb steps, enter and exit through vents, closets, as well as cabinets. There are also several booby traps that were installed by the murderous Leather Head.

Because the children starved, they resorted to cannibalism in order to survive. If they see you, however, you must be careful because they will attempt to feed! Customers following Nina’s passage will hopefully make it past the parents Leather Head and Mother Mary but the horror doesn’t end there. Fearless or fearful customers will have to face off with the mysterious wolf creature who fed on the children’s bodies after they died!

Take a look for yourself! See if you’re not convinced that this is one of the scariest haunted houses in New Mexico.
