   So this is a weird one, happy hour is allowed for food specials only. You can have a drink specials but they must be set for the whole day not a specific time frame. It is illegal to offer special deals to a section of the population such as “ladies night”.

   So not that this is on everyone’s to-do list but just in case, steer clear of graveyards in NC between the hours of 12:00 am and 6:00 am! The double dare to go ghost hunting isn’t worth the fine.

   Because of its rarity, this indigenous plant has federal laws protecting its natural growth. In some counties, it is a felony to steal the Venus Flytrap while it is naturally growing; you can even receive up to two years in jail!

4. Bingo games must not exceed five hours

   Yes, really. Not only is it illegal to serve alcohol during Bingo games, but these high intensity events are not authorized to last more than five hours.
