It’s also a city for those who wish to discover interesting multicultural history. A lot of history, excitement and romance can be found throughout the River Walk. An important part of the city’s urban fabric, the San Antonio River Walk is filled with interesting shops, cafés, bars, restaurants and gorgeous romantic scenery.

The River Walk is also a great way to exercise by taking long walks around the beautiful and interesting scenery. The River Walk winds and loops under bridges as two parallel sidewalks lined with restaurants and shops, Throughout the year there are celebrations that are incorporated into the River Walk experience; specifically during the beginning of spring and the Christmas season.

The River Walk also offers romantic boat rides which provide gorgeously designed light shows as they travel under various overpasses. The boats also work well to get around San Antonio quickly as an alternative to driving or walking. The River Walk is a “green-friendly” environment, that many more cities in this country would do well to think about emulating.

In conclusion all visitors to San Antonio simply must experience the River Walk and all the amazing things it has to offer!
