Check Out Williams Arizona While Up Above This Cool Car Zipline

Published

on

Williams Arizona is famous for being the gateway to Grand Canyon National Park. Many people also adore its nostalgic charm, such as Americana-style shops that go back to the early 1900s. There are a lot of cool things to check out in Williams, but nothing tops this exhilarating experience that will take you 110 ft. above the ground. Say yes to the Route 66 Zipline Adventure!

Fly Through The Sky in Style

The Route 66 Zipline will keep you comfortable throughout the whole exciting experience. All you need to do is take a seat (instead of the usual harness) and enjoy the view of Williams on the historic Route 66 Highway. You won’t get tired climbing up a tower, or hiking before riding the zipline. You can just ride a cool car right away and brace yourself for the fun ride!

The activity will give you a tasteful rush as it propels you 30mph forward and 30 mph backward 110 feet above the ground (many people absolutely enjoy the backward ride). The total zipline ride takes 1,400 feet of round trip, and it even has an exciting stop at the end!

It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, this is a beautiful activity for everyone! You don’t even have to worry about your safety because the Route 66 Zipline has already given about a thousand rides in their time in downtown Williams. That says a lot about their quality of service.

Are you in Arizona for the ultimate Grand Canyon vacation? Why not stop over the Route 66 Zipline, stretch your legs, and feel the wind in your face?

Get Strapped in And Enjoy the Ride

This popular attraction offers family fun and a bit of a scare. You can share the ride with your loved ones for a more memorable experience.

What should you expect? First, you need to get strapped in. As soon as you’re comfortable and ready, the ride will start and you’ll probably hear music and some sound effects.

The whole zipline ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you’re done, the operator will then secure the cart and disconnect the seat belts so you can step off your seat. Your family or friends will surely anticipate your facial expressions. Our tip: don’t appear too excited (or scared!)

Note: Queuing up is another story. On some days, there will be no line at all, but the Route 66 Zipline has very busy summer evenings, and you may wait for up to an hour.
