1. Most Bigamous Marriages

A man named Giovanni Vigliotto had a whopping record of 105 marriages from 1949 to 1981. Just imagine how big of a family tree he’s created. Vigliotto married all wives even without divorcing another wife. He’s part of the Arizona Guinness World Records, but ultimately, in a very bad way. He was an ultimate fraudster and bigamist who married a lot of women with a plot to sell their belongings. He was convicted in 1983 and died in 1991.

In Arizona, there was a cat who rose to fame as “Grumpy Cat.” The cat lived in Morristown, Arizona, and is known as Tardar Sauce. Well, fame is on his side because Tardar Sauce got the most likes for a cat on Facebook as of May 3, 2017. Sadly, Grumpy Cat passed away last May 14, 2019, due to Urinary Tract Infection. 4. Most Expensive Batman Memorabilia Sold at Auction

On January 19, 2013, the 1966 Batmobile was sold for a huge amount of $4,620,000 at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Batmobile has a certain look because its designer George Barris beautifully transformed an original 1955 Lincoln Futura. The headlights have a more gothic style, white it has reformed fins and grille. There are also machine guns, rocket boosters, Bat Radar, and Bat Phone! How cool is that?

Who would have thought the list of Arizona Guinness World Records also involves a man with a basketball on his nose? It may seem impossible, but Scooter Christensen of the Harlem Globetrotters impressed people when he completed it in a record time of 7.7 seconds on November 5, 2015, in Phoenix.

6. Farthest Distance to Move a Bridge

In case you didn’t know, an American businessman named Robert P. McCulloch bought the London Bridge in 1968 and moved it from England to Arizona. This move made Arizona a good tourist spot in the desert, and also saved the bridge from falling down. (Cue London Bridge is Falling Down song). This is one of the most impressive events in the Arizona Guinness World Records, with the move of the London Bridge from London to Lake Havasu at a distance of 5,300 miles.

7. Longest Greeting Card Exchange

Back when the internet was still inexistent, an exchange of the same Christmas card yearly for 57 years set a record in Mesa, Arizona. The duration of the card exchange happened in 1930 to 1987 by Warren Nord and Thor Andersen.

8. First Unmanned Aircraft and Powered by Liquid Hydrogen

On May 26, 2005, the AeroVironment flew the world’s first liquid hydrogen-powered Global Observer UAV. If you’re curious about his ability, just know that he was able to do addition of a random 2-digit number by itself for 36 times at a speed of 15 seconds! Amazing. He’s crazy good!
