  • The water source is nonexistent during the duration of the hike. Always be ready and bring sufficient water and trail snacks for your trip. Since this is only a moderate trail, you shouldn’t overpack, but instead, just bring what you need.
  • Be sure to wear fitness clothes and hiking boots for a more comfortable experience. These will be your bestfriends as you hike the Ooh Aah Point Grand Canyon.
  • Bring a bag that is not too big nor too small to carry your things. Remember to stash your important items deep into the pockets of your bag so you don’t lose it when you hike.
  • Go to the restroom first before hiking the trail.
  • Avoid hiking during the summertime because the heat may be extremely deadly. On the other hand, if you want to hike here during winter, you should take note to wear appropriate gear.
  • Parking may be a bit difficult so you can take the Orange or Hiker’s Express Shuttle Bus to bring you to your closest destination trail.
  • You can also just park in the east of Yaki Point Road and walk to South Kaibab Trail.
