Show Retail Dealers. Over 250 dealers gather at the Tucson Gem Showcase to sell different types of gems, jewelry, crafts, mineral, and fossils. If you are looking for something, we’re pretty sure you can find it here!

Exhibits. Those who own different types of minerals and fossils are suggested to join the special exhibit. This way, people would be able to see these rare collections. There are different treasures showcased each year so you will surely have fun! Some of the most interesting featured items from previous years were The Logan Sapphire, Hooker Emerald, Star of Asia, and The Original Gadsden Treaty. School Visit and Mineral & Earth Sciences Organization Programs. Students and several members of the said organizations are invited to the showcase free of charge. Approximately 3,000 students come here with their teachers or guardians.

Saturday Night Dinner Program. This is where auctions for prestigious items are being held. Aside from that, you’ll be treated to a night of buffet, awards ceremony, slide competition awards and a voice auction.

Lectures and Seminars. There is no Tucson Gem Showcase without a lecture series. The best thing about it is that they are open to the public and free of charge. You can sit in and learn more about the beautiful treasures from Thursday through Saturday of the Show week in the Maricopa, Mohave and Greenlee Meeting Rooms at the Tucson Convention Center. Despite the situation right now, Tucson Gem Showcase is scheduled next year. They are planning to make the event safe and to properly mandate social distancing. The Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase is scheduled from January 30 to February 14, 2021. It has the theme of traveling around the globe without ever leaving town. Why? The organizers say that when you come here, you will feel like you’ve traveled the whole globe, and ventured back in time. Not to mention, you have the great opportunity to shop a world’s fair of treasures all in one place.
