1. Golfland Sunsplash

When you’re looking for a recreation destination just outside of Phoenix, you need to make sure you drop by the famous Golfland Sunsplash in Mesa! It features more than 30 rides and attractions. Enjoy the thrilling water slides and their award-winning miniature golf. Visitors can even play in the arcade, or battle with their friends at the go-cart track and bumper boats.

What’s next in our list of amusement parks in Arizona? Ah! The CrackerJax. How can we forget this one?

This 28-acre park is frequented by kids and adults of all ages with their go-karts, driving range, bumper boats, and more. You bet that all their park attractions include something for everyone! Some of the park favorites include the following:

  • Alien Laser Tag. Two teams with the same goal will battle it out to win the most points. Players must deactivate the other team’s laser phaser, disable their base, as well as shoot the extraterrestrials!
  • CrackerJax Speedway. Players will be able to test their driving skills as they ride the Can-Am style go-karts on Arizona’s most challenging track. It has the longest course in Arizona with over 1200 feet in length, including hairpin curves, S-curves and even a banked track.
  • Jax Trax. This ride is designed for children with its full-bodied, Indy-style racing karts.
  • Bungy Dome. Fly to new heights as you try this high-performance entertainment structure! You can jump up to 30 feet in the air and feel the breeze and thrill altogether.

Note: Some guests may say that this park is already pretty run down. But CrackerJax has also added new attractions and improved their maintenance to serve more guests and provide a more memorable experience.

Rate: Mon – 4-Hour Unlimited Ride Wristbands (access to go-karts, bumper boats, and mini-golf) at $22 +tax during Thursdays, $27 +tax during Friday to Sundays, and $17 + tax during Tuesdays. Other rates will apply for different attractions.

3. Makutu’s Island

Makutu’s Island will surely be your child’s magical dream come to life. Enjoy the evergreen lush, as well as the indoor island with towering trees, caves, a bungee jump, a special toddler zone and more.

While this park is called Club Disney, they have no actual affiliation with Disney. What are you waiting for? Journey through the magical island full of adventure and roam through the Inferno arcade and try your hand at all the games!

Rate: All-Day Passes are $17.99 +tax for children ages 1 thru 17 (one adult per child is free), $6.99 +tax for an extra adult participating in tree play, and FREE for extra adult (arcade and cafe access/non-participant in tree play)

4. LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona

One of the best amusement parks in Arizona is undoubtedly the famed LEGOLAND, the place where kids play and use their imaginations!

Kids can build their own race cars or pedal a magic bike. They will also enjoy zapping skeletons at the Kingdom Quest Laser Rider and rescue the princess, and belt out tunes at the karaoke playtime at the DUPLO Farm Head. A true LEGO fan should also take the challenge of building the tallest tower that will withstand an earthquake at the Earthquake Tables.
