Arizona is home to the jaw-dropping Grand Canyon, crazy desert wildlife, and very hot summers.
Look out MTV Cribs, there’s a house in North Carolina that out does any celeb home! Spreading across 8,000 acres in Asheville, NC, the Biltmore Estate is the largest home in America. The gigantic home was ranked eighth in America’s Favorite Architecture back in 2007 and continues to be a favored tourist attraction.
Built around 1890, this enormous estate belonged to George Washington Vanderbilt II. Vanderbilt had the manor built to be his summer home which he later referred to as his “little mountain escape”. His relatives still own the home and allow public visitors year round to tour the 250 rooms. Those less interested in the history of the Biltmore Estate are often impressed to learn that the home has been featured in popular movies including Forrest Gump and Hannibal. This crib is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!
