15 More Wacky Balloons at the 2016 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta
The final day is among us now at the 2016 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta! Tomorrow I will have a recap of the events and more interesting tidbits for you. Today, however, as promised I will finish up sharing the wackiest hot-air balloons that took to the skies this year.
Sarah the Witch
A flying witch is a perfect idea for a hot air balloon entry to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Don’t miss the cat clawing for dear life on her cloak.
Wells Fargo Cent’r Stage
It’s interesting to see Wells Fargo making an appearance at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. But, they’re welcome just as long as they keep making and flying hot air balloons like this one.
Touchdown
A giant football. Why didn’t I think of that?
Sushi
This poor hot air balloon is a fish that has a scary future. Sushi is raw fish we consume. Based on its expression, I think it knows something.
Soccer Ball
And a soccer ball. Which one is better, football or soccer?
Mister Z
This happy zebra does look a little nervous. I wonder if zebras are commonly afraid of heights. I suspect so.
Mr. Clown
This clown is super chill and flying high.
Sunday Cruise
Hey, turning a hot air balloon into an advertisement takes some confidence. It’s pretty cool looking nonetheless.
Baby Dino (With Some Funky Dragon Trailing Him)
Flying dinosaurs, and not the typical flying species’.
Sylvester the Puddy Cat
A memorable and friendly face took to the skies during this year’s Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. I definitely see a putty tat.
Black Diamond
A mysterious, but also very intriguing hot air balloon.
Gus T. Guppy
More flying fish. I love flying fish.
Victor the Bear
This friendly little bear came all the way from Germany just to grace the clear blue Southwestern skies.
Master Yogurt… I Mean – Yoda
The Force is all around us. Yoda reminds us of this during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
The Majestic Carousel
This is an elegant and classy entry into the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. It is indeed quite lovely don’t you think?
