You only need to be in Arizona’s backyard to see a sprawling playground that promises thrills, spills, and non-stop fun for adventure seekers of all ages.

The park is set to open this year, and you can just expect it to pulsate with energy, and beckon you to dive headfirst into the action-packed world of adventure. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or a laid-back explorer, there’s no shortage of excitement to be found.

Senior Director of Global Location Based Entertainment at Mattel, Julie Freeland gushed with happiness, saying how Mattel Adventure Park is an “amazing opportunity to bring our beloved brands to life.”

Construction is still underway, with substantial progress being made, but once completed, it is expected to give fans of all ages a day of thrills and nostalgia.

Mark Cornell, President at Epic Resort Destinations, also says that it will feature a “unique and strategic year-round indoor/outdoor design providing acres of air-conditioned space.” This is so all guests can have a cool experience all summer long even with the Arizona heat.

What kind of fun attractions await you?

You already know about the Barbie- and Hot Wheels-themed rides. Is that all there is? Lucky for you, there are lots to try!

The younger ones will be delighted to check out Thomas and Friends-themed rides. There’s World of Sodor, Adventure Train: Treasure Hunt, Party Station, Bertie’s Bus Stop, Bulstrode’s Stormy Voyage, Flynn’s Firefighting Academy, Harold’s Helicopter Tour, Sodor Balloon Ride, Dockside Play Park, and Dockside Cafe!

Not to mention, there’s also something for Masters of the Universe lovers with the park’s He-Man vs. Skeletor Laser Tag. This is inspired by the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress, so expect that laser tag game to be on a totally new level!
