Well, PistachioLand is definitely a quirky and unique roadside attraction for a reason.

As you step out of your car and into PistachioLand, you’re greeted by rows upon rows of pistachio trees swaying gently in the breeze. It’s a sight straight out of a nut lover’s dream.

The real star of the show in PistachioLand is the giant Pistachio!

The colossal pistachio sculpture stands proudly, and towers at a whopping 30 feet tall! You can say that this oversized nut is a sight to behold. From its perfectly ridged shell to its gleaming green interior, it’s a nut lover’s spectacle. It took five yards of concrete and 35 gallons of paint to complete the giant nut. Just a quick history check – the giant nut was actually created as promotional material and to lure people to McGinn’s Pistachio Tree Ranch and Winery Gift Shop. It also serves as a tribute to Tom McGinn, whose vision was to grow pistachios in the New Mexico desert.
