Try to Survive a Night with Jason with Your Friends At This Campground in Arizona

Is the old movie “Friday the 13th” in your list of favorite horror movies? One of the main antagonists of the sequel is Jason Voorhees. If you can’t remember him (we doubt you could forget him), he’s the guy wearing a hockey mask coming after people with a machete. If you are a horror movie enthusiast or just someone who wants to face his or her fears and solve some mysteries, we are recommending you to take the experience of meeting Jason right before your very eye. You can find him at this campground in Arizona!

Survive Jason’s evil right here in Arizona!

The Survive Slasher Camp hosted by On Pins and Needles offers a terrifying puzzle-like mystery game that you and your friends can enjoy. The object of the game requires you to solve multiple puzzles to try and find a way to escape the nightmare that is Jason! You can actually play the game on your own, but as they say, two heads are better than one, so you better bring your friends.

During each game, you can expect three 25-minute games held throughout the night. In each game, there will be 8 players that can team up against Jason or you can try surviving solo. Although each game doesn’t start right away, you and your friends can enjoy the pre-game campfire cookout. Tickets are $25 per person and it includes a meal! The first event will usually start right around dusk. The anticipation alone might get you before Jason does! If you decide to play, you will be able to use one weapon at a time to defend yourself against Jason, and if your game goes into overtime, the play area becomes smaller. Overtime usually adds an extra 10 minutes to the game.

Tips

• If you want to make your stay memorable, be there as early as 30 minutes from the said schedule. There are pre-games during the campfire.
• Follow them on social media because they may be giving away tickets! Who knows, it could be your lucky day!
• Only try this game if you are healthy enough. The organizers discourage pregnant ladies and people with a heart condition from playing.
• Travel to nearby travel landmarks after the games to maximize your trip.
• The game lasts about 25 minutes. There is also an overtime period (10 minutes) where the play area shrinks are additional weapons are added to aid either the players or the killer.
• Children and pets are not allowed. You also cannot play if you are under 18.
